Our egg retrieval was yesterday and this afternoon I'm feeling much better. I've been resting in my bed since I got home yesterday and I really think sleeping more has helped my body heal faster.
The bad news...
Dr. Anderson called me and informed me once again we have a problem with my eggs. They were able to get 12 yesterday but they all looked not normal, They ended up doing ICSI which means they fertilize them by injecting one sperm into each egg.
Out of the 7 they did this too only 3 fertilized. Yes 3 is 2 more than we had last time but now I'm not counting on anything. I don't think this IVF is going to last much longer, we are just on day one and there are soooo many hurdles these 3 embies would have to overcome to even make it to a pregnancy.
Right now, I'm just not hopeful
I'm just numb

Baby making phone call
When doing infertility treatments a lot of it is scheduling appointments, or as I like to call it "Baby making phone call"
I got to call this morning to talk to the nurse about ordering all my IVF medication. We have been working with a pharmacy called Freedom Fertility Pharmacy. They specialize in all fertility medication and our insurance plan is covered under them. Even though we still a less than a month away, I want to make sure I have everything squared away long before I need to start. This is also the case with Joe providing his sample to be frozen as a back up.
Doing stuff like this gets me happy and excited, like I'm doing something at least to help have another baby. It keeps my mind very positive and hopeful.
