Baseline appt.

I'm on top of the world!
HEY!

I had my baseline appointment last Thursday morning with my blood work and ultrasound. I wasn't nervous because I didn't think they could tell anything much, but I guess during the ultrasound Dr. Anderson could count up to 19 follicle that could possible produce an egg, and I haven't even started my shot (hormones yet!)
I was just so excited nothing else in my world felt like it could go wrong.

A few days later my pharmacy called me and informed me we have hit out maximum lifetime for infertility medication!!
I had no idea we were even close. After all our maximum is $15,000. So you can just imagine how much these drugs really cost!!!
There is a reason they call is fertility gold....because it cost more than gold itself!!

Hey! I found your instagram/blog through the SCCRM hashtag. I just had my first consultation with Dr. Anderson last week and my husband and I are moving forward with the IVF process soon. Sorry to post this in the comment section (I looked for your email address but didn't find it). Would you mind telling me which insurance policy you have? The insurance I currently have doesn't cover any infertility treatment so I'm trying to decide if I need to switch insurance providers or just continue to pay out of pocket. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated!
